"The point is the doing of them rather than the accomplishments.  There is no actor but the action; there is no experiencer than the experience."  -Bruce Lee

AS OF NOVEMBER 2007, Wea`tah is back in action.
Check out the calendar! We have weekly swordfighting practices, armor / weapons and sewing circles, every Saturday at Turtle Island. When we're not hosting an official Wea`tah event, Wea`tah members can be found at Turtle Island Tuesday through Saturday, 1pm to 10pm.

Welcome to The Wea`tah!

The unit of Wea`tah is a national unit of Dagorhir based in the realm of Angaron .  The Wea`tah was formed with the belief that a family is composed of many different members all contributing their individual skills to make an exceptional cohesive unit.  We believe in striving to improve our fighting skills, while also striving to improve our knowledge and skills in the arts and sciences to make our unit the best, most valuable, merchentary(TM) unit in the area.

We believe in the importance of the contributions of all of our members.  If you are a seamstress, you are just as important as a fighter; if you are a cook, you are just as important as a seamstress.  Every member, new and old, experienced and inexperienced alike can make their own invaluable contributions to our family.

We believe in, and promote the following policies within the Wea`tah unit.  These include community service, promotion of good sportsmanship and proper conduct, family and unit gatherings, regular care and maintenance of unit equipment, leadership and sponsorship programs, and an open door policy for any member who needs us to lend an ear for any reason whatsoever.

We offer several programs and workshops which we believe are unique to
Dagorhir, which include, but are not limited to the following:

Loaner-Owner Program
Minion Program
Training Facilities Program
Skill Improvement Program

with workshops that include, but are not limited to:

Garb
Weapon Smithing
Armour Smithing
Jewellery Making
Leather Working
Weapons Training
Siege Weapon Construction

Group Combat Tactics

Belly Dancing

Feast Cooking
Calligraphy
(others to be listed.)

Please see our Programs page or our updated calendar in the Resources page for more information on any of the above.

Welcome to our website, please enjoy your stay.
