Rebekah
Faith - BIO
Rebekah Faith, author of "Picking up the Pieces" is an author, poet, singer, painter and sometimes an inspirational columnist. As a “Jack of all Trades, master of none” this renaissance woman never claimed to be great at anything, but for some reason she has this artist's wanderlust that pulls focus from maintaining a 'real job' in the 'real world' as a computer programmer.
From a very early age, she has been singing and creating her own music, it wasn't until her late teens that she started in with short story and poetic writing, photography, drawing and painting.
She'd like to say she "studied art" at Temple University and Bucks County Community College, but in truth, her focus was science at the time. She just took a few classes in writing, drawing, painting, music, voice, photography, ceramics and theatre and play production. She proudly proclaims that what she knows about the stage and film mediums could fill a comic book.
In 2004, she wrote a book about her experiences being homeless, called, "Picking up the Pieces." She was inspired to write an inspirational column for a few months, and now she is working on her second book, a coffee table art and poetry book.
Today, Rebekah Faith wanders through life with an inspiration that changes almost daily. She may be auditioning for bands or musical theatre one day, writing self-help and advice columns another, and painting, or sculpting the next.
Rebekah Faith offers a cornicopia of real life experience inspired visual, literary and musical creations. In her world, there is always something new and exciting going on and her art is a reflection of her nearly chronic, quixotic state. Although she is always able to output commissioned work on demand, Rebekah Faith usually sings, writes, draws and paints whatever happens to be inspired by her quixotic life.
